Greetings from Olsson Associates

Mike PiernickyThe road construction season is upon us! While our staff members share commuters' annoyance with delays caused by road projects, we view the hang-ups as progress that our roads are becoming safer and more efficient--and we're pleased to be a part of this progress. As you'll read below, one of Olsson's larger projects, Omaha's 84th and West Center Road improvement, is progressing toward completion.

We're also pleased to announce that our work on Nebraska's first "Diverging Diamond" interchange is coming to fruition as the Nebraska Department of Roads has started holding public meetings regarding the design. From most accounts, public reaction has been primarily positive.

Olsson's Omaha office has also gained additional professional credentials as Associate Engineer Kyle Graham has achieved his Professional Engineer license. Kyle is among a class of four Olsson engineers to earn their PE licenses this year.

As always, I welcome your questions or feedback as we trek into the summer!

City officials knew improvements needed to be made, so, earlier this year, the city selected Olsson Associates to provide construction services for the project.
