Artisan Fair

9TH ANNUAL ARTISAN AND HERITAGE FAIR MARCH 5TH

Hatfield Township's showcase of the arts, trades, collections and skills of yesteryear will be 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 5, indoors in the Hatfield Township Municipal Building, 1950 School Road, Hatfield. The Fair allows both adults and children to interact with numerous artisans and try thier hand at skills like wheat weaving, scherenschnitte, and playing a simple tune on a guitar. The program includes live music by the The Druckenmillers, an outdoor encampment by the 71st PVI Civil War reenactment unit and more than twenty presenters. Snacks, lunch fare and beverages will be available for purchase, to benefit the St. Maria Goretti Church Youth Group. The event, free and open to the public, is sponsored by Penn Color, Inc., Penn E & R and the Hatfield Chamber of Commerce.

Ms. Murphy offers business hours at both the Hatfield Township Municipal Building and her Lenhart Road Office for questions and payments. U.S. post-marked payments are accepted, or residents may submit payments in the mail slot in the office door at 2028 Lenhart Road at any time.

SPECIAL COLLECTION  FOR FALLEN BRANCHES

 

Due to the recent ice storm Hatfield Township will be accepting tree branches that had fallen naturally during this storm. These branches can be dropped off at the Christmas Tree Drop-Off site on Chestnut Street, located behind the Police Department, until Sunday, March 6th.

 

The Township will not  accept tree trimmings or commercial activity.
