Residents & Neighborhood Organizations, Improve Hatfield
with a Community Grant
We want you to help improve our community where you see
opportunities. To help residents and neighborhood organizations close the
financial gap from idea to implementation, Hatfield Township is offering up to
$500 in funding through the Hatfield Township Community Grant Program (HTCGP). The HTCGP is a pilot project in 2010 to encourage resident
and neighborhood involvement in improving our community. You provide labor and
donated funds or materials, the township provides grant funds.
What do you wish your neighborhood had? Some project ideas
include: a basketball court, an exercise trail, or a local stream clean-up, but
you know what your neighborhood needs most! Read more about the program, download an application, or
contact Devan Stewart, at 215-855-0900.
Applications are due no later than November 19, 2010.

Over 1,000 Attend Rocktoberfest, Best Year Yet
|
Rocktoberfest had a new home this year, helping to make this
the best event ever! Site event sponsor Sequoia Out Back turned the site into
the perfect location. Cars packed the parking lot and families hopped the
hayride to main event sponsor TD Bank to paint pumpkins. In addition, we had a
record-breaking 165 contestants vying for Rocktoberfest Car Show trophies. The Township Parks and Recreation Board thanks all sponsors,
volunteers, vendors, and food & fun providers for making this community
event a great success. Plan to join us next year on the first Saturday in October, at the same great location |
