Pay It Forward Mini-Grants

Pay
It Forward Mini-Grants are designed to fund one-time-only
service-oriented projects identified by youth as activities they would
like to perform to benefit their school, neighborhood, or community.

one person does a favor for others, who in turn do favors for others.
Mini-Grants
of up to $500 are available for projects one time only. Selection
criteria include adherence to the Pay It Forward concept, educational
benefit to students/teachers, integration into school curriculum, and
the number of people impacted by the project.

KaBoom Community Partnerships
|
KaBOOM!
is a national nonprofit that envisions a place for children to play
within walking distance to local residences in North America. In order
to achieve this, KaBOOM! has created ongoing opportunities for
community organizations to build a new playground or skatepark. Ideal
community partners are usually child-serving non-profit organizations,
but can be community development organizations, neighborhood
coalitions, schools or any organization that can mobilize a volunteer
work force and is in need of new play places.
Selected
applicants will be awarded a project that will sustainably, but not
completely cover the costs of building a new play space. Therefore,
eligible applicants include community partners that are able to raise
additional funding towards the cost of equipment. After planning and
support from KaBOOM! the community will be able to build the play space
in one day with the help of community support.
Deadline: Rolling
