The entire team, and with all their
gear, arrived safely at the Hotel Diego de Almagro in Punta Arenas, Chile. That's huge. Gear checks and
packing is going on even as we speak. Tomorrow, there'll be an orientation
meeting with the flight service, more packing and preparations, and a hoped for
flight to the Ice the morning of the 10th. Flying is 100% weather
dependent. Delays are not uncommon or unexpected. But, the first big hurdle
has been crossed.

we receive news of any importance.
