At least they've made a
bit of progress. I talked to Dave via sat phone this afternoon. They are now
back at Patriot Hills. That's one step closer to home. Weather still hasn't
allowed the big plane to come in for the flight back to Chile but
everyone's fine and reasonably patient. Safety comes first and that plane won't
fly until conditions are right. So, the waiting game continues but it's not so
hard to wait when you have the summit of Vinson in your rear view
mirror.
