Phil called in last night with an update:
The group has descended from High Camp and is now back at Base Camp on the Branscomb Glacier (8000ft).
Phil mentioned some more details on the failed summit attempt on the 30th: 30mph winds and temps dropping to 30 degrees below 0 are what turned them around.
Now it's just a waiting game at Base Camp. The weather needs to be good enough for the Twin Engine Otter flight from Base Camp to Patriot Hills. From there they'll hope the weather continues to cooperate enough for the IL 76 flight from Patriot Hills to Punta Arenas, Chile.
Fingers crossed for some good weather.
