 We
had a terrific autumn Himalayan Season, with 29 climbers on top of Cho Oyu, and
successful EBC Trek, Lobuche, and Ama Dablam climbs. Congrats to everybody on these trips!
Everest Spring 2009 looks good! We have now sold 16 of our 24 slots on the climb (So
Col route). Mark Tucker will be the leader with Ang Jangbu and his Sherpa A
team. Currently we have four guided climbers with Justin Merle and Mike Hamill
and ten non guided with personal Sherpas. We also have climbers heading to
Lobuche Peak as well as Camp 2 and Camp 3. There are also a few slots left on the treks.
The Chinese Mountaineering Association says Cho Oyu will be open for spring. We have six climbers signed up,
with room for a few more. Cost $14,750. Spring is a sweet time to be on Cho Oyu!

Winter Rainier Seminars
Tackle Mt. Rainier in the Winter! 
All seminars start climbing from Paradise
utilizing tents or snow caves the first night or two. The team moves up to
our hut at Camp
Muir as conditions allow.
Winter conditions are variable, but the summit is attempted as conditions
permit. The training that occurs during the seminar is invaluable for future
high altitude & cold weather expeditions (i.e. Himalayas, Aconcagua, etc.)

We Have Lost a Friend... 
It's with deep sadness that we
announce the passing of Emilia Cardenas. Emilia is the daughter of IMG Ecuador
guide and dear friend, Romulo Cardenas and his wife, Patricia. Leukemia took
her from us at the young age of 11. We all miss her dearly.
