2010 TALL SHIPS FESTIVAL Stop by For a FREE LUNCH
Dear ,
Above sounds too good to be true right? Well, not really! Please read on...
The Ocean Institute's 2010 Tall Ships Festival is coming up this weekend, starting this evening and running all day Saturday and Sunday. See the links to the left for all the event information. Your Dana Point Boaters Association leadership didn't want to miss out on all the fun, so DPBA will staff a booth on both days within the Arts & Crafts area, on the grass at Baby Beach (both Saturday & Sunday).
With all the many exciting and entertaining events for the entire family it promises to be great weekend! Plus there'll be plenty of news updates on both land and water side harbor revitalization, the new design for the Embarcadero, slip rates and much more. So please drop in at the DPBA booth to chat, learn more and let us know you what you think.

Now what's the deal on that "Free lunch"???
As a thank you to our members for stopping by the DPBA booth we are offering a limited but generous number of vouchers for a free lunch combo consisting of a hot dog on a bun, a snack size bag of chips and a soda. This is a five dollar value and it's super easy too! Just drop by the Dana Hills High School Pep Squad food booth which should be nearby on the grass at Baby Beach.
Are other members of the family that are hungry too? There'll be plenty of food and the 5 dollar donation per person will go to a very worthy cause!

Mission Statement: The Dana Point Boaters Association advocates the preservation, enhancement, and expansion of affordable recreational boating resources. We work to improve the family friendly atmosphere and breadth of water-oriented actives we all enjoy in the harbor. We serve as the watchdog by ethically protecting the rights of all boaters and representing them when collective action is most effective. We actively gather information and communicate our views to educate boaters, external interests, and public officials. We build and maintain constructive, working relationships to achieve common goals with other harbor stakeholders. We will pass on our harbor to the next generation of recreational boaters in better condition than it is today. |
