Earlier today the California Coastal Commission Staff released their updated draft of the Dana Point Harbor Local Coastal Program Amendment (LCPA) and Land Use Plan component (LUP) report. This latest report draft is intended to incorporate the changes stipulated when Commissioners reviewed, and otherwise approved the proposed LCPA/LUP at the Public Hearing in Oceanside back in October.
The City of Dana Point, the lead government agency responsible for the jurisdiction of the new LCP (once both they and the Coastal Commissioners approve it) will hold the required Public Hearing in the Dana Point City Council Chambers, 33282 Golden Lantern, Suite 210, Dana Point, CA, 92629.
The hearing date is Monday, Febraury 8th, starting at 6 PM.
Note that Boaters and other interested parties have have just 10 days to review and verify this 144 page document.
