Ambassador of the Month
Krista Gordon
Congratulations Krista Gordon, June's Ambassador of the Month! Since 2004 Krista has come to HM for all of her skincare and beauty needs. When asked what her favorite service is, Krista admits, "I'm a menu sampler! Depending upon what I need I try new things and I'm always pleased with the service." She sites Naomi's waxing and Kristie's tanning techniques as two of her favorites.
When
it comes to product, this Ambassador (like many before her) raves about
Yonka's Masque No 1 saying that sometimes she uses the decadent cream
on her entire body (hello luxury!). She's also a fan of the La Natura line and DerMed for daily cleansing.

A Word on Bronzer...
A good bronzer is key in any beauty regimine,
especially in Seattle. It wakes up pasty skin in the winter and adds a
sun-kissed glow to your SPF protected face in the summer. No matter
what the season, selecting the right bronzer and applying it properly
is key. Here are a few things to keep in mind when adding color this
season:
1. Most bronzers come in a light, medium and dark versions. Choose a
shade that is no more than two darker than your natural skin tone.
Keep in mind, most women have naturally darker skin in the summer vs.
the winter, if you're wearing bronzer daily you may want to adjust for
the season.
2. Unlike blush, bronzer can be applied to all areas where the sun
naturally shines on your face (forehead, cheeks, nose and chin).
3.
LESS IS MORE -- remember you're going for sun-kissed, not clown-like.
To avoid the latter, use a short, fluffy brush for applying
powder-based bronzers (and be sure to blow off excess powder before
application). For cream-based product, use your finger or a makeup
sponge and blend, blend blend!
