Lupino
Congratulations to this month's Ambassador, Tony Lupino. Mr. January
was referred to us by his lovely wife (and former Ambassador herself,
Kris Middleton). For almost two years now, Tony has been coming to us
for an array of services.
An avid tennis player, Tony takes care of
his feet with regular pedicures from Kristie. He's also a fan of the

Ask Miss Maintenance
Dear Miss Maintenance,
January and February are the most difficult months for me in Seattle.
The holidays are over, family has left town, and the work weeks are
back to their usual 5 long days. While winter solstice has passed, the
days are still pretty short and spring seems like a figment of my
imagination. Do you have any beauty tricks that will give me something
to look forward to and help me make it to spring?

Feeling Dull
Dear Feeling Dull,
You're not alone. I recently read somewhere that January and
February are the months when most Seattleites take vacations (likely to
a place where the sun shines). If you're not taking a break from
Seattle, take a break in Seattle. One thing I like to do in
the winter is make a standing at home spa date with myself. I do this
once a month but try for every two weeks. It's a simple way to relax,
rejuvenate and beautify at the same time.
After I have a healthy dinner, I prepare a cup of herbal tea and
run a bath. I add one or two cap fulls some of Yonka's Phyto Bain to
the running water (it smells fantastic!). Infused with lavender,
sage, rosemary and a host of other beneficial ingredients, you feel
soothed and relaxed after a 20 minute soak. While I'm soaking I
usually apply a mask or some type of facial treatment. This time of
year it's nice to do some extra exfoliation, so I use DerMed's
Brightening Skin Polish. This gentle product has Jojoba Beads and
Kojic Acid that remove dull cells and leave you glowing. After the
bath, be sure to moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. Wrap up in a robe
and settle in with a book or a trashy magazine. Good luck and
