The Original High Maintenance Ambassador:Naomi Lewis
This month we're taking a break from our "Ambassador of the Month" column, to tell you more about the original High Maintenance Ambassador, Naomi Lewis.
If you've been lucky enough to have a service with Naomi, you'll know there's something that sets her apart from your typical esthetician. After attending midwifery school, she was about to head to Texas for a three month internship to complete her certification. As a single mom, Naomi was not willing to make that sacrifice and decided to pursue an esthetician license instead.
"My sister was an esthetician at the time. I loved how her services made me feel more beautiful, pampered and healthy. I knew that with my midwifery education and background in herbal remedies I could bring an added level of knowledge to the job," she recalls.
After working at some of Seattle's top skincare studios, it didn't take long for Naomi to realize that she wanted to start her own business. "I had developed a cult following and was seeing clients out of my home if they couldn't make it in to see me during regular business hours. I was so busy yet so energized by the work!"
High Maintenance opened in July 2002 and was a one-woman show for the first year. Now with a staff of 4 the business continues to grow, making Seattle beautiful, one person at a time!
