Changing Your BPOS Password on the Web
Bob here. Users of BPOS have to change their passwords on a routine basis. Or they're given a new password from Support, but need to change it before they can use it for anything useful. If you're at your desktop with the Single Sign On Client, that's not too difficult. But if you're away from the desk, and want to go to the web? It's not so clear.
It's not straightforward how to change their password without having to use the Single Sign-on Client.

December's Lunchinar on Microsoft BPOS and Office 365 a Success!
Bob Coppedge and the Simplex-IT gang hosted their final free Lunchinar of 2010 with a fitting preview of the evolution of Microsoft's Business Productivity Online Services (BPOS), renamed Office 365 and scheduled for rollout in early 2011.
Simplex-IT has been very active in implementing BPOS with an ever-growing number of clients this year. And with the added features and benefits that will be included in Office 365 we expect that success and excitement will not only continue but likely increase. By the reaction of the attendees and the expressed interest by those who wanted to attend but couldn't, it appears our expectations are well-founded.
BPOS includes Hosted Exchange, Hosted SharePoint, Live Meeting and Office Communicator. Office 365 will continue to include these four fundamental components of the online services but will add additional features and functionality. There will be, for example, a package that will include the ability to have Office Professional Plus 2010 installed on your local computer on a subscription basis for an incredibly low monthly fee. For the latest updates and information on Office 365, go to http://office365.microsoft.com/en-US/online-services.aspx.

| Plain Funny #26 | |
Ok...I'm not the biggest Beatles fan (sorry, iTunes). But I have to admint, they've had some good ones "Back in the USSR," "Help!" and yes, "Let it Be" come to mind.
But ya know, I've always felt that not enough stars from the 80's sing Let it Be. And how many nights I've spent wondering "Why don't Roger Moore and Lou Ferrigno ever sing a song together??" Well, now I can sleep at night. And so can you! As you watch this, you'll feel your mind going from "huh?" to "he's still alive??" to "Why did they do this?!"
Still wondering? Click here. |
