Last week, Bob spoke with several faculty members and students at Lakeland Community College about Microsoft certifications, technologies and strategies.

 

Later in the week, Bob was a featured speaker at the quarterly meeting of the NEODBUG (NorthEast Ohio DB2 Users Group, www.NEODBUG.ORG).  Bob spoke about SQL 2008 and some of its cool features.

Last month, Bob matched Sam in getting his Windows Server 2008 certification.  Obviously, Sam had a chip on his shoulder when he decided to go for his Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.

 

And, of course, Sam now has his CCNA.

 

When Bob was asked whether he was going to match Sam by getting his CCNA, Bob mumbled something about not wanting to "show Sam up."  Bob then quickly left the room.

 

 

Bob will be the main presenter at two sessions at Tech-Ed in June.  He'll be talking about User Groups at one event, and then following that the next day with a discussion of how Microsoft Small Business Specialists can make the most use of their relationship with Microsoft.
