| What Beer Will Obama Choose? |
Quotes from Operations Manager Jim Dorau turned up in a recent Boston Globe article about the upcoming "beer meeting" between Obama, Crowley, & Gates.
With a Harvard professor and a Cambridge police officer, it is only fitting to choose a local brew.
More buzz on the issue was featured in today's Salem Evening News.

| Brewers Play Ball |
|
On Sunday July 26th, the Ipswich Brewers took the field against the Essex Baseball Club, a Vintage Baseball Team from Essex that plays ball as it was played in the 19th century.
The game began as the Ipswich Little League Allstars took on Essex Baseball for the first two innings. The Ipswich Brewers rallied against Essex from the 3rd inning on. The Brewers played well and looked professional in their new "vintage" uniforms, but could not overcome the seasoned Essex team. The final score was something like 5 runs (or SO) to 2...
Nonetheless, great times were had by players and cranks alike, and we are surely looking forward to more games this season and beyond!
Thanks again to the Essex Base Ball Club for giving us an opportunity to play, and special thanks to The Ipswich Historical Society for organizing the event.
A tentative game is set for September 20th- but more details will follow.
Thanks again to all who attended!
