Ocean and Summer FUN!

BetsyThis month the children will be exploring and learning about the ocean.  The children will explore coastal items like sand, shells, and seaweed.  We will aslo focus on varieties of oceanlife including crustaceans, fish, and sea mammals.  The children will spend some days enjoying fun summer activities such as Hawaiian theme crafts and making ice cream.

As always, the children will also be learning new songs and old favorites, finger plays, and flannel stories related to the ocean and summer. Watch out for the children's favorite "Little Fish" and our giant mural related to this song.
