Marketing Tip: After the Event...
|Did you know that after you attend a trade show, seminar or networking 97% of you do not follow up from the event!
Meeting someone at event is only connection #1. We need to plan what is our connection #2, #3, #4, #5... #9. Remember it takes 5-8 times for person to connect (phone, email, face-to-face, direct mail, etc) with you before they will consider even buying from you!
Know what you are going to do with your cards and how are you going to follow up before arriving at the event.
Always, schedule 1-2 hours of time the next day following the event for your follow up activity. Have a clear action plan for the intention of your call.
By simply having a clear plan you will sure to find your fortune in the follow up!
