Infiniti Law is a transactions-based law practice that provides innovative, superior quality, and cost-effective legal solutions to companies in the areas of corporate and general business law, intellectual property law, employment law, and business immigration law. The company's vision is to act as the equivalent of an 'in-house corporate counsel' for your company---providing all of the typical transactional legal services needed to establish, run, and protect your business in a cost-effective, service oriented manner.

Infiniti Law is pleased to introduce our new self- service Immigration Portal which can be accessed through our website at www.infinitilaw.com. Our Immigration Portal provides our clients with 24/7 direct access to case preparation & processing information & immigration status information. In addition, cases pending with the USCIS are directly linked to CIS status information via the portal. HR personnel have access to in-depth information regarding all pending employee cases and have the ability to run personalized reports in a format that organizes the information as needed by the company. HR personnel can request new immigration processes through the portal and data gathering will be automated via online questionnaires in order to increase efficiency & minimize case processing times. All current clients will receive instructions on how to log-in, along with their unique user name & password within the next few weeks via email.

The State Department has released the October 2007 visa bulletin showing the priority dates effective for October 2007: --EB1 filings are current for all countries --EB2 filings are current for all countries except China & India (Priority date for India is 4/1/04 & Priority date for China is 1/1/06) --EB3 priority dates are as follows: India & Mexico: 4/22/01 China: 9/1/01 All other countries: 8/1/02

Adjustment of Status cases filed in July & August 2007 were all filed with the USCIS Nebraska Service Center as dictated by the USCIS. However, the USCIS then forwarded some cases to different CIS service centers. The result has been that cases filed on the same day have had vastly different receipt processing times. There was no rhyme or reason as to why any specific case was forwarded to any specific service center and there is no way of knowing which service center your case has been forwarded to until we receive the receipt. Here are the latest receipting times for Adjustment of Status cases (this includes EAD and Advance Parole applications filed concurrently) reported by the CIS: California Service Center: 8/28/07 Nebraska Service Center: 7/29/07 Texas Service Center: 7/2/07 Vermont Service Center: 8/30/07

If you know of anyone who would be interested in receiving our immigration bulletin, please feel free to forward it using the link below. As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to call or email me.
