Adjustment of Status cases filed in July & August 2007
were all filed with the USCIS Nebraska Service Center
as dictated by the USCIS. However, the USCIS then
forwarded some cases to different CIS service
centers. The result has been that cases filed on the
same day have had vastly different receipt processing
times. There was no rhyme or reason as to why any
specific case was forwarded to any specific service
center and there is no way of knowing which service
center your case has been forwarded to until
we receive the receipt. Here are the latest receipting
times for Adjustment of Status cases (this includes
EAD and Advance Parole applications filed
concurrently) reported by the CIS:
California Service Center: 8/28/07
Nebraska Service Center: 7/29/07
Texas Service Center: 7/2/07
Vermont Service Center: 8/30/07
