It is finally fall!  My favorite time of the year.  The crisp air and changing leaves; there is no better time to run. There is so much in store for October.  We have awesome clinics and seminars, make sure to be the first to sign up.  Don't miss out on our "Spooky Scary Sale"  this entire month at both stores -  20% Off Selected Items.  As the dusk comes earlier and the dawn arrives later, make sure to have some type of reflective gear on. Your safety is more important than your miles.

Fun with Straps Yoga and the Foam Roller

Yoga's Edge LogoSunday, October 16, 5:30-7:30pm - La Grange

Sunday, October 23, 5:30-7:30p - Elmhurst

Discover the benefits of deep stretching, core strengthening, and breathing that are specifically designed for endurance athletes. Yoga brings awareness to structural and muscular imbalances caused by the repetitive strain of running. Balance the tightening and shortening of muscles with lengthening, elongating and loosening efforts. Releasing tension in the body results in greater range of motion and potentially increased performance.

In this workshop we will use yoga straps to help traction the spine, open hip flexors, release tension in the shoulders and provide stability in standing poses. Learn how a yoga strap provides added alignment benefits in a wide range of poses.  Learn how to ease muscle strain and stretch out with the foam roller.

Participants will receive an electronic pose guide after the clinic with a valid email address.

$10 per person.   Space is limited, sign up at the store today.

 Cash and checks only.
