It Just Might Be Summer ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We are not holding our breath here in Pagosa since it
snowed Monday before last, but if the
weather since
is any indication summer just might be here. It is so
beautiful in the mountains when the grass starts
greening and the runoff from the high mountains
leaves the rivers flowing full, with small and large
waterfalls abounding everywhere.
We have not moved the yearlings up from Oklahoma as yet but the animals that were on winter pasture are back and already getting fat on the lush green grasses. Thought you might enjoy seeing a picture of the animals. Check out the website for more.

Pagosa Vacation Winner ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Neil Carson was our Pagosa Vacation Winner, and
wrote to let us know how much they enjoyed their
visit. "We're now back from our holiday to Pagosa
Springs and what a lot of fun it was. We did some
mountain biking, some hiking and generally poked
around the town as well. The accommodations at
Wyndham Resorts were great. Plenty of room for us
and the kids to hang out, play games and generally
relax. ...Again, a big thank you for the holiday. It was
greatly appreciated and enjoyed." You can see some
of the other pictures Neil took on our website Photo
Gallery.
Pagosa Springs is a wonderful place to be in the summer. We encourage all of you to put Pagosa on your list of vacation destinations. The Wyndham Resort is lovely, but there are many other great hotels, B & B's and campgrounds in the area, as well as an abundance of good restaurants. If you are an outdoor enthusiast you will never run out of trails to hike or streams to fish. Pagosa really is a vacation paradise, so consider this your invitation to come. |

New Pricing on Ribeyes ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In the past we have featured Boneless Rib Steaks in
our lineup, which contained the Ribeye and a portion
of meat along the Ribeye. We have decided to change
this, and are now offering only the ribeye portion of the
steak. It did
mean, however, that we needed to adjust the price
just a bit, to $18.99 per pound, only $1.00 more. We
hope that you will approve. If you don't like the new
steaks
better,
please let us know.

Problems With the Order Form ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Some of you have experienced some problems with
the order form. We apologize for this, but thank you
very much for letting us know. If anyone else has had
problems, please do let us know. We have contacted
the website designer and are working on it.

June Special ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Order the Mountain Man Special this month
and instead of receiving 6 pounds of Ground Beef you
will receive 10 pounds, an added value of
nearly $22.00! That should really help to offset
some of the shipping cost.
Needing to stock up on our delicious Ground Beef for the summer? Order the Ground Beef Family Package and pay only $160, a savings of $20 off the already discounted price. It brings the cost down to $4 a pound, and that is amazing considering the quality of our burger. Take advantage and stock up.

In Closing ... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Our trip to Idaho was a good one although in the end
we decided there is no place like home. The majesty
and the beauty of Pagosa Springs is hard to compete
with. In Boise we were able to locate Allan's paternal
grandmother's family home and meet some
neighbors who were able to give us a good deal of
information about the family. We drove to Yellowstone
only to find that it was closed due to a snow storm -
very disappointing. The one thing we learned is to
travel south for vacations in April! God
bless each and
every one of you. We hope you are experiencing the
start of a VERY good summer.
