 Pamela QuallsGreetings!

The Sunday School teacher I admired most as a child was Mrs. Higgens.  She was always there, every Sunday, celebrating our joys and caring for us through our sorrows while teaching us to know and love God.

When I graduated from high school, I was asked to teach Sunday School myself.  I said yes right away, because I wanted to be just like Mrs. Higgens and to give the children the gift that she had given me.

Each month, we spotlight a volunteer whose work in one of our programs is exemplary.  Doug Brown, this month's spotlighted volunteer, tells a similar story of giving back in honor of those who helped him through a tough time.

As you read more about what we've been up to in our missions, I hope you see opportunities to honor God and a person He sent to be pivotal in your life by giving back, too.  When you do, just let us know - we have a spotlight waiting for you!

Grace and Peace,
Pamela Qualls

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send, and
who will go for us?"  And I said, "Here am I. Send me."
