Denim Group Gives Back to the Higher Education Community
by Donating ThreadStrong e-Learning Courses to Universities Every year, thousands of computer science students enter the workforce. Because of the breadth of a computer science curriculum, most students won't have the opportunity to learn the core concepts of software development while in college, let alone secure software development. To help build a better developer workforce, Denim Group is donating our secure development e-Learning courses, ThreadStrong, to the higher education community.
Universities that have already received the donation include: - Purdue University
- Georgia Tech Research Institute
- Rutgers University
- The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA)
- Trinity University
"Ultimately, our goal is to train students so they become competitive graduates poised for successful careers. ThreadStrong helps support this goal by giving our students the opportunity to learn critical skills that will prepare them for leadership in the cyber security industry," said John Frederick, University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs.
