Greetings!
Can you believe it's March already? I feel like the school year just started! Along with the warmer weather, we start to think about summer, and along with that we think about summer programs and camps for our kids, the youth we work with and one issue always arises... ways to entertain them during the summer vacation months! I would like to tell you about a wonderful camp that I am part of...
I am partnered with an incredible organization... Extreme Youth Leadership. EYL is a wonderful program that I am honored to be a part of. EYL hosts camps throughout the summer (as well as throughout the year) to educate today's youth and empower them in their communities, and teaches them various ways to deal with issues that directly affect them today. EYL Training Camps

the better.
Extreme
Youth Leadership and Jeff Yalden educate adolescents and adults about substance abuse,
environmental prevention and provides a vehicle to create
social change.
Providing this opportunity to develop skills and
to contribute through volunteering with recognition,
will increase your commitment to remain drug free
while encouraging a greater sense of devotion to
your community.
Training Camp
EYL Training Camp combines youth networking, activities, skill clinics, keynote speaker Jeff Yalden, and FUN into the best way to teach your group how to improve your community through both planning and teamwork. You'll walk away with a new friends, useful skills, a solid Action Plan, the motivation to go out & make a difference and the desire to come back year after year!
Action Training
EYLAT - stands for EYL Acton Training, a one day workshop designed to turn your group into a TEAM as you learn how to advocate for change in your local community. Working with Jeff, and EYL staff, we'll help you address a variety of issues, including leadership, alcohol, drugs, bullying & diversity. Create a plan of action for a campus or community improvement project, and then discover local resources in your area to make your plan a reality.
Leadership Training
Want your youth to excel as leaders and team members? EYL will bring some of the most experienced youth trainers in the country to provide a variety of educational workshops for both youth and adults on topics including team building, effective environmental change, media literacy, advocacy, and leadership, interactive, fun, and thought-provoking - your youth will leave with the knowledge and skills they need to be successful agents of change.

A Letter from the EYL Camp Director
Have you been searching for the right opportunity...
to impact the lives of your students?
If so, then look no further. Extreme Youth Leadership offers young people the opportunity to take the next step in leadership. EYL empowers young people to step outside their comfort zone and reach to fulfill their potential as a leader.
Each summer EYL provides an opportunity for youth to participate in our youth leadership training camps. EYL leadership camps combine youth networking, activities, skills clinics, keynote speakers, and FUN into the best way to teach your group how to improve as individual leaders. At the same time your students will learn to be selfless by learning to examine the environment that surrounds them and look for opportunities for improvement. Each student will leave EYL with a campus or community improvement project to implement when they return home.
Although I now serve as the Director of EYL, I am actually a product of this same youth leadership training system. There are countless alumni and volunteers whose lives were forever changed because of their experience with EYL. Give us the opportunity to serve you and your students and you will return year after year to enjoy all that Extreme Youth Leadership has to offer!
