Greetings!
Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, Happy Ramadan, Kwanza .. did I forget anyone? Last month I wrote to you to ask you to take a moment to be grateful for what you have and to clean out all closets, and donate all your old clothes (or your daughter's UGG boots - Yes, I did!) ... and so on.
Of course this month, the same message applies. Its the "Holiday Season" and I ask that you do what you can for those less fortunate than you and I.
The media blasts us everyday with news of the fact that we are in a "recession". Do they really think that we don't know? We are spending less this year, holding onto our every last dollar and dime, making it stretch further than it ever has. We are all downgrading, as we individually see fit. I am writing you this month to ask you not to downgrade on one thing... HAVING FUN, and enjoying the season! Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Ramadan, or Kwanza.. ENJOY IT! Have friends over, make gifts instead of buying, go sledding, go to tree lighting ceremonies, be a part of all that we have to celebrate! We live in a beautiful country, full of our own traditions, as well as many others- make the most of them!
Celebrate your family, friends and all that you do have. Go to the holiday parties and have fun. Host a party or gathering and have fun! See a theme here? FUN! FUN! FUN! We work so hard, and everywhere we turn, we hear about the condition of the economy, the downtrodden and disenfranchised, war and turmoil. What about doing just cause to the the brave men and women who are a part of our armed services, who fight to make sure we have the freedom to enjoy these things, don't do them a disservice and not make the most of your holiday season!
In the midst of all that we are dealing with, make the most of what you do have! Be thankful and show it, call your parents, share a favorite holiday memory, kiss your kids and tell them the stories of Santa, Rudolph, Judah or your specific traditions. HAVE FUN AND ENJOY!

Jeff Yalden Homes 
We've mentioned Jeff Yalden Homes previously and are excited to say that progress is well underway! We would like to tell you a little bit more about the NonProfit Orgnization we are establishing. The first home is "The Jewel House", which will be located in rural Iowa. The Jewel House will accommodate up to eight pregnant teens or
young women ages 13-21. While at the house, they will live family style
with house parents. The young women will receive counseling and support
services to empower their choice to become parents or to give the gift
of a child to waiting adoptive parents.
We are working with a wonderful team of individuals to create this incredible dream come true and we look forward to sharing more information with you as we further progress.

A Letter from Sabrina... 
My work here at Jeff Yalden International is at such an exciting time. Working in such a dynamic industry is such a change and quite literally, a breath of fresh air! Getting to be part of a project as wonderful as "The Jewel House" is so rewarding and I am enjoying learning from some wonderful people and then reporting the progress to you!
On a personal note, its the holiday season, and with two little ones, it just doesn't get any better! We also recently added to our family, we adopted a puppy from the local shelter and she has since become my third child! Visions of Christmas morning, paper everywhere, bows, chaos and now a puppy! If you ask any0ne who knows me they'll tell you i've been listening to Christmas music since November- happily! From Sinatra, to Elvis and Alvin and The Chipmunks, I make sure its always on somewhere to keep the mood festive. Right Jeff?
In my home as a child this was the best time of the year, with everything lit up, always fresh baked munchies and lots of love and company. I have striven to give my children the same things that as a kid I experienced and loved. Jeff mentions traditions above and enjoying and celebrating them- I am in full agreement! Take this time and have fun with it. Go to every ceremony and gathering and parade your hometown has! Live it up, and make the most of this wonderful life we've all been granted! Whatever your beliefs, I genuinely wish you and yours a wonderful holiday season!!
