3ABN to Air Special Program About NY13 - April 28 and 29
3ABN will air a special program about NY13, the evangelistic initiative to reach people in New York City and beyond with the gospel of Jesus Christ, on Saturday April 28, 8:00 p.m. EDT/7:00 p.m. CST and Sunday April 29, 10:00 p.m. EDT/9:00 pm CST. Shawn Boonstra, assistant ministerial director for the North American Division, is the host of the program and the panel of guests include Ted Wilson, General Conference president; Dan Jackson, North American Division president; Donald King, Atlantic Union Conference president; Frank Bondurant, Columbia Union Conference vice president for ministries development; G. SNEC Executive Secretary Juan Borges Accepts Call to Arkansas-Louisiana Conference  Juan Borges, Southern New England Conference executive secretary, has accepted a call to serve as the executive secretary of the Arkansas-Louisiana Conference. Borges, and his wife, Betty, have served in SNEC for 11 years, three years as pastor of the Framingham/Marlboro Spanish church district and eight years as executive secretary and Hispanic coordinator for the conference. They plan to transition at the end of June.

Camp Meeting Schedule Available Online
The 2012 camp meeting schedule is available online. The camp meeting themes for the six conferences this year are: Bermuda: "Light Up Your World;" Greater New York: "Connected;" New York: "Watch and Be Ready;" Northeastern: "Empowered to Witness;" Northern New England: "Hope;" and Southern New England: "2013 by 2013, A Bold Initiative to Grow God's Kingdom." In celebration of the 150th anniversary of its organization, the New York Conference, will transform the main tent into a setting typical of the early camp meetings and will feature many of the early pioneers. 3ABN will be broadcasting live at the Greater New York Conference (July 6 and 7) and Northeastern Conference (June 30) camp meetings. Chip Leadership Training Coming to Hartford Area - May 18-20
CHIP leadership training will be held at the Connecticut Valley church, 354 Foster Rd., South Windsor, CT 06074 on May 18-20. Check-in for materials is Friday, May 18 at 9:00 a.m. The workshop begins at 10:00 a.m. on Friday and ends on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. CHIP is the Complete Health Improvement Program. Atlantic Union Attorney's Conference - April 26
The 2012 Atlantic Union Attorneys' Conference is on October 12-13 in Stamford, Connecticut. The conference is for Adventist attorneys and law students. Society of Adventist Communicators Award Nomination Deadline July 2
 The Society of Adventist Communicators (SAC) is accepting submissions for the 2012 communication awards. If you are or know someone who has excelled in communication that you would like to nominate for an award, the deadline to submit the name(s) is July 2. Award categories and guidelines are posted on the SAC Web site, along with the 2011 award winners. From the pool of winners, the awards committee will chose an overall Award of Excellence and the Reger Cutting Smith Award for innovation and creativity. Nominations for Lifetime Achievement, Student, and Young Professional awards are also being accepted. The nominees and award winners will be announced at the SAC Awards Banquet on October 20 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. E-mail your nominations or questions to info@adventistcommunicator.org.

Amazing Facts Reaches One Million People
 Amazing Facts announced in April that more than one million unique viewers per month are watching its 30-minute Amazing Facts Presents program hosted by Pastor Doug Batchelor. The research, conducted by the Nielsen Research Agency, on 14 major television networks across North America, measuring a sample of the television stations that air Amazing Facts' main program, revealed an audience size that was much larger than expected. The survey numbers do not include overseas broadcasts or the other 30 networks that Amazing Facts currently airs on-including the Inspiration Network, NRB, HOPE Channel, and 3ABN. As a result of this television audience, more than 5,000 people each week contact the ministry for study materials related to the program or to enroll in the Amazing Facts Bible School.
