Friday, Nov. 4, 7 p.m. FILM "Metropolis"
The 1984 Giorgio Moroder pop-music version of Fritz Lang's 1927 classic "Metropolis." Moroder gave the film a new contemporary score and added a pop music soundtrack featuring songs from some of the biggest stars of the MTV era, including Pat Benatar, Billy Squier, Freddie Mercury, Bonnie Tyler, Adam Ant and Jon Anderson.
Saturday, Nov. 5, 7 p.m.
FILM "L'Amour Fou," a film about the private life of the legendary Yves Saint Laurent(YSL). Framed around the 2009 auction of the priceless art collection amassed over several decades by YSL and Bergé, this extraordinary documentary provides an unprecedented look at the life of a mythic personality whose personal life matched his public for elegance, extravagance and passion.

FILM "Harlan - In the Shadow of 'Jew Süss'"
Filmmaker Felix Moeller presents a look at the life and work of Veit Harlan in the documentary "Harlan: In the Shadow of Jew Süss." Harlan's anti-Semitic propaganda films were required viewing for all of Hitler's SS who were responsible for many horrific crimes against humanity during World War II (1939-1945). Harlan was the only "artist" from the Nazi-era to be charged with war crimes. The film is shown in conjunction with the current exhibition "Black Mountain College and New Mexico," on view through February 2012.

Free screening of the riveting documentary by Pamela Tanner Boll. What does it mean for women artists to nurture children and family, while keeping the creative fire burning within? FILM "The Mill & The Cross"
"The Mill and the Cross," directed by Lech Majewski, inspired by Pieter Bruegel the Elder's 1564 painting "The Way to Calvary," and is based on Michael Francis Gibson's book The Mill and the Cross. The film was a Polish-Swedish co-production and premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January 23, 2011. Set in 1564, the film focuses on a dozen of the 500 characters depicted in Bruegel's painting. It further examines the themes of Christ's suffering and religious persecution in Flanders.

CONCERT Taos Chamber Music Group "Nocturne"
The Taos Chamber Music Group ushers in the darker, quieter time of year with Franz Schubert's dulcet Notturno for violin, cello and piano; contemporary American composer Lowell Liebermann's haunting Night Music for flute, clarinet and piano; Johannes Brahms' Trio in A Minor for clarinet, cello and piano; Kevin Puts' sparkling Simaku for clarinet, violin, cello and piano; and Glen Cortese's I Dream'd in a Dream for flute and piano, based on the Walt Whitman poem. Indian Musical Concert:
Ragas Performed on the Sarode and Pakhawaj
A not to be missed concert of rare living musical traditions of India: Ragas performed on Sarode and Pakhawaj - the sublimely enchanting improvisational side of Indian musical heritage. In both ancient and modern styles Sarode Master David Trasoff will perform traditional classical and light classical folk Ragas, and improvise with percussionist Phil Hollenbeck.

Artstreams
Artstreams is an innovative program for individuals affected by Alzheimer's disease and acute short term memory loss and their caregivers, which works in collaboration with the Chesed Project. Artstreams provides opportunities for group visits to the Harwood to encourage conversations, observations and enjoyment of the various exhibits and artwork.
