FLETC Survey Request

The Driver/Marine Division of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center is conducting a survey of law enforcement trainers on the use of helmets for students and instructors in driver training.  We request information from all trainers as to the following:
.

1.      Do you require the use of helmets at your driver training facility?

2.      If so, is the use of helmets limited to certain courses, speeds, etc.?

3.      What type of helmets are used?

4.      If you have discontinued the use of helmets in training, what was the basis for that decision?

.

Please forward your responses to T.C. Cowan at thomas.cowan@dhs.gov
