The CED students may wear their favorite pajamas to school
on Monday, October 31st for a Pajama Party! There will also be a pumpkin patch tour so please have children wear tennis shoes instead of bedroom shoes. The students will be
decorating pumpkin cookies for their snack. We will have a
fun day!

Halloween time can be overwhelming for young children. Decorations are displayed weeks before the holidays, confusing children who have little concept of time. Scary costumes and spooky noises can frighten youngsters who have difficulty distinguishing between real and make-believe.
Yet, children enjoy the novelty of dressing up. CED staff hopes
this simpler, less frightening alternative to a costume party will
take the scare out of Halloween!
