TEKA ILLUMINATION TAKES B-K UNIVERSITY'S SIGMA CLASS INSIDE THE 'CAVE'
They traveled from places like Boston, Atlanta, Milwaukee and even Canada ...
They work as lighting designers, architects, landscape architects, electrical engineers and sales representatives ...
They are 60 strong ...
They are the Sigma Class of B-K University.
This truly unique event, held from Thursday, November 10th through Sunday, November 13th, brought together lighting professionals from around the world to learn the procedures, systems and secrets that make B-K Lighting + TEKA Illumination luminaires last a lifetime.
"BKU combines education and good times like no other program I've ever attended," said Thomas Hartin of Enterprise Lighting Sales. "I've seen hundreds of photos and cut sheets since I started working with Enterprise, but nothing compares to actually being there, building your own fixture and shipping it out the door." To further enhance their BKU experience, attendees were asked to brave the dangers of the 'Cave' to see how TEKA Illumination products are built to stand the test of time. In the Cave, attendees were shown the advantages of combining copper, bronze and brass to achieve a sound fixture. It's an entirely 'hands-on' experience.
This latest class of BKU Alumni join nearly 1000 other graduates who have walked through these doors in the past eight years.
