VALUABLE LESSONS TAKEN FROM B-K LIGHTING'S ASSEMBLY TRAINING DAY
What would you think if we told you B-K Lighting President Doug Hagen put together the fixtures for your last order?
Hagen and more than a dozen other members of the front office staff "transferred" to the Assembly Floor on Friday, May 27th.
It was all part of a special job training event designed to help the professional staff understand and appreciate the challenges of assembling fixtures and fulfilling orders.
It was truly a learning experience for members of the Finance, IT and Marketing Departments who participated.
And it was also an opportunity for the office staff to see where the assembly process could be streamlined.

B-K SCHOLARSHIP ALLOWS FOREIGN STUDENT TO ATTEND LIGHTFAIR
As part of our commitment to support lighting education programs across the world, B-K Lighting welcomed Asban John Pious, an architecture student from India, to last month's LFI. For the last 12 weeks, nearly 20 employees took part in B-K Lighting's "Biggest Loser 2" program. After a grueling battle of the bulge, B-K Customer Service Representative Tricia McGrath was named this year's 'biggest loser.' In total, our employees lost a total of 176 pounds.
