Christian Simplicity
A highly-recommended congregational resource
By Carol Meyer
We used this ecumenical resource at our church this Lent and I can testify it was truly transformative for participants!
Over the course of seven weeks in small group study, people really had their eyes opened about how their consumption patterns regarding food, water, travel, energy use, etc. relates to justice, spirituality, and the protection of God's Earth. This top-notch educational resource is easy to use.

It's Spring Planting Time! The "Whole" Landscape: Creating a Plan to Green up your Site By Matt Schoell-Schafer, Landscape Architect with Viero* When think about "going green" we might first think about things like switching to a hybrid car, fluorescent lighting, or energy efficient appliances. But my landscape is already green, right? Not exactly! When you figure the energy it takes to mow the lawn, the exhaust the mower spews, the chemicals needed to keep things green, and the hours required to maintain the typical lawn, our landscapes can actually be tremendous environmental, financial, and even mental burdens on us. However, by looking at the landscape sustainably, it can actually become an amazing source of inspiration and education along with having a positive impact on our environment. These impacts can be summarized by the 4 P's; Planet, Prosperity, People, and Participation.
