As you know by now, I really love to spin cotton! But the funny thing is that with all my time devoted to growing Cotton Clouds these past 35 years, I really haven't given myself the time to sit and enjoy spinning cotton as I used to. So when Liz Gipson said she was coming to my home to film me spinning cotton, I panicked! Did I really remember how to do it; how would I look on camera spinning cotton in my own funky way, sometimes with one foot on the couch as the other treadled. It was a grueling day of takes and retakes following Liz's production
