Heart Happy
When my father died of heart disease, I decided to take care of my own heart. I lost 25 lbs, found an exercise routine I loved (NIA and yoga), began to meditate, eat lots of fruits & veggies (I'm almost a vegetarian) and take time to smell the roses and laugh alot!
Now I can share Heart Health Awareness by sponsoring Stitch Red, a campaign sponsored by the yarn industry to alert women of early warning signs of heart disease.
Join me in first learning the facts about heart disease (Click Here for an informative PDF booklet) and then in spreading this news with every woman you love!
Knit, weave, crochet or spin one of our Stitch Red exclusively designed quick & easy projects. We'll donate 10% of all sales through March 1, 2012 to Heart Truth. |
"Heart Truth means taking care of yourself and your heart--inside and out. It is a long-term commitment and goal to live a healthy life, one that is harmonious with body, mind, heart and spirit." Orlinda |

Two-thirds of women who have a heart attack fail to make a full recovery. The fact is, if you've got a heart, heart disease could be your problem. Fortunately, it's a problem you can do something about.
