CHI YO 2011

Members and friends of St. Paul's are invited to participate in the

annual outreach fundraising project call "Chi Yo."  For 31 years St. Paul's has been making a Vietnamese spring roll from scratch. This spring roll called "Chi Yo" is sold along with soft drinks at the Salem Art Fair.  Proceeds are given to the "Helping Hands" ministry in Salem and for music scholarships at St. Paul's.  We need over 200 volunteers.  Would you please help us?  Duties include kitchen help, rolling of the spring roll, frying, running the product and selling. Shifts are generally three to four hours in the morning, early afternoon and late afternoon.  The dates are July 15, 16, and 17.  To volunteer, please call Paul Klemme at the church  503-362-3661 ext. 310  any time or send him a note on email halepk@frontier.com.

MUSIC BOX

Thanks of the congregation to members of the Trinity Choir for their weekly music ministry in worship at St. Paul's.  This group of music ministers rehearses for two hours on Thursday evenings and sings for one service on Sunday mornings during the months September - June.

The choir participated in a musical pilgrimage trip to Episcopal Churches in Boston, Massachusetts in October 2010, sang for December Lessons and Carols and supported the January "Amahl and the Night Visitors" opera.
