School has started for many of our students and summer is waving good bye - but we can say - it has been a fulfilling, "No Regrets" summer in so many ways!
We enjoyed a record setting water baptism celebration, Revolution of Love youth missions trip, Servolution outreaches, Gurnee Days Parade Water Give-away, a phenomenal Lifefest Picnic, and the One Month To Live Campaign.
Most importantly... many of your friends & family either have or are on the road to discovering faith in Jesus Christ this summer at Life Church! This is why we exist!.
This is the final week of the One Month To Live campaign.
Join us this Sunday at 9:30 am for The Encounter
(prayer & praise time) and at 10:00 am for our Life Church service
(worship & teaching). As we share the final OMTL message "Living A No-Regrets Life", you will be encouraged by the 4 biblical and practical keys to a dynamically fulfilled life.

FUSION Back-To-School Regional Worship Concert
This Sunday August 29 at 5:00 PM
Christ Church - Lake Forest, IL
Jr & Sr High students are invited to join over 300 students from youth groups across Lake County
for a heaven shaking night of worship and prayer with the Dave Mudd Band.
Fusion students will carpool with Fusion leaders & parents at 5 PM from the Life parking lot and will return by 8:30 PM.

Pastor Luis & Tricia Reyes (Church of Joy, Zion, IL) asked me to pass along their gratitude to those of you who donated school supplies for their annual backpack giveaway to 1000 children & teens in Zion, Waukegan, & North Chicago. Every donation brings a smile and a vote of confidence and faith for each child to succeed. Thank you!
NEW DATE: Neal Elementary School in North ChicagoSaturday, September 4th 9:00 AM - Noon
The North Chicago School District is the second poorest district in the State of Illinois. Life Church under the leadership of our own Steve Derkson (Prism Inc - painting contractor) is starting our first project at Neal School. We are painting the driveway and parking curbs with yellow safety paint and painting exterior structural poles and facias to improve the safety and appearance of the school. We are also seeking to provide 20+ commercial fans for the classrooms.
If you would like to serve on this kick-off project, please register by replying to Info@WelcomeToLife.net.
We will email you the directions and serving instructions. Ages 12+ for this Servolution event.
We have other interior projects that will be scheduled throughout the Fall season.

Youth Pastor Candidate Update - Seth Grier
After joining Life Church last weekend for a youth leaders breakfast, Sunday Service, and the LifeFest picnic, we are pleased to continue our interview with Seth for a part time staff position of youth ministry at Life Church. We are excited about Seth's love for God & students as well as his passion and leadership abilities in ministry.
At this point, we are still praying for God's confirmation, ministry/vision connection, and financial provision. Thank you for your prayers & shared excitement about Seth.
Also - if you are willing to make a special monthly financial/commitment towards funding for a youth pastor for Life Church above your normal giving, please contact Pastor Mark asap as this information would be very helpful at this point of the interview.

 Pray For New Office & Ministry Center
Life Church has located some fantastic office opportunities in Gurnee that will likely give us 1.5X more space and even cut our annual rental expenses by 30-40%. This is one of the steps we are taking to make room for adding more staff (i.e. youth pastor) and positioning our church for future 24/7 facilities for all of our weekly ministries (including Sunday mornings).
We hope to announce this transition by Labor Day weekend.
Please pray for God to give us favor with facility owners and to give us wisdom in negotiations.
