The Elders of Peninsula Bible Fellowship (PBF) are calling a special congregational meeting on Sunday, August 5, 2012, at 10 a.m. - between the regular services, in the sanctuary. The purpose of the meeting is to vote on the election of Ted Berney to a second term as elder of PBF. All eligible voting members of PBF are encouraged to attend. Don't know if you are a member? Send an email to the office here and we will let you know your status.
Basque students attend camp
Due to the cancellation of their flight back to Spain, many of the Basque students are still here in Washington and will be attending Hillbilly Summer Camp with our youth. Pray for these students and the opportunities they will get to have in this additional time here in our state.
Share an inspiring Olympic video from last week's sermon
Many of you asked about this video that we shared during Pastor Brent James' sermon last week. If you would like to see it again or share it with others, here it is. Enjoy. And get a book of tissues beforehand. If you haven't seen it, trust us, get the tissues.
Powerful Inspirational true story... Don't give up!
Berney was a high school teacher, and football and track coach for many years in Bremerton. Fourteen years ago, he helped establish a branch of Royal Family Kids Camp here at PBF. Since then, he has served as director of the program, which has provided a loving, summer camp experience for nearly a generation of local children who have suffered neglect and abuse. Ted is also an elder at PBF. Hear him speak about Royal Family Kids Camp here.

Rend Collective Experiment
Rend Collective Experiment
Playing LIVE at PBF July 20th
We estimated that 300 people attended last Friday's Rend Collective Experiment concert. We thank all of you for taking part in this amazing night of music and worship. I think all who took part would affirm that it was far more than a Christian folk rock concert, it was truly a time of prayerful worship of Christ. We were happy to see many of our friends from Silverdale Baptist, who hosted Solid Rock day camp with us this week, attend the event as well. After the concert, the band commented that our venue was one of the most welcoming they had encountered in their long travels. If you would still like to purchase Rend Collective Experiment items, please go here for t-shirts, and CDs.
We THANK ALL THE VOLUNTEERS who made this incredible event so successful and gave so much of their time to prepare and make the band and ALL our guests feel welcome.
