Feed the hungry
From March 1st though 8th, PBF is responsible for arranging teams to feed those living in Benedict House. The facility provides emergency shelter and transitional housing with supportive services for single homeless men and homeless men with children. Currently about 26 men and 1 child live there.
Volunteers are needed to plan, shop for, and cook dinner. Three or four volunteers are needed for each night. This is an ideal project for a Care Group to complete.
In each team of volunteers, one must have a food handler's license. This is easy to obtain by completing an online training session and test from the Washington Department of Health. The process takes about 90 minutes. If you choose to take the test online, use the link through the Kitsap County Department of Health as there are many illicit sites offering this program.
If you or your Care Group would like to participate in this hands-on, loving form of ministry, please contact Ted Orr at 360-692-5680. Learn more on our website.

Help others in our church
Two members of the PBF family have recently had surgery to repair serious leg injuries. Neither will be mobile for some time.
One is a single male and other other is married woman, and both are essentially homebound.
Both would benefit greatly from a home-cooked meal, and the woman would sincerely appreciate visitors as she convalesces for three months.
If you would like to assist, please call the office at 360-692-6549 or try heidi.evans@peninsulabible.org. We would like to provide them with the support that the Body of Christ can give.

A letter of thanks Thank you for helping us provide over 300 people Christmas dinner and 144 Kitsap County youth Christmas presents.

Seeking Prayer? Are you facing a new challenge in life? Jesus tells us that God listens to our prayers, hears us and loves us enough to respond. PBF is a spiritual hospital and our best medicine is often prayer.
If you would like our Prayer Team to lift up your concerns in prayer, please contact coordinator Sharon Hyland at 360-830-5250. Your prayers will be kept confidential if you so choose. They can also be shared with various prayer teams, or included in our weekly bulletin to be lifted up by the entire congregation.

Sharing God's love on Fabulous Fun Friday |
 | |
Even jumping through hoops can be fun at this event..
|
Fabulous Fun Friday brought 33 children ages kindergarten through second grade to the sanctuary of PBF. The children learned how God is love, and the very best Valentine. With lots of laughter, the kids decorated cupcakes, ran through an obstacle course, sang songs, heard a great story and enjoyed a wonderful light show with glow sticks. Many of the kids reached our to their friends in the community to bring them to this light-hearted event at PBF.
