July 2006 Mr. John McNamara purchased Seat #8 in the Power Car of the Flying Yankee for $2,500.00. Between 2006 and 2009, Mr. McNamara decided to upgrade a Coach Car Seat which is $4,500.00. After contacting us of his wishes, we were able to resell his original seat putting the $2,500.00 into an account. With an additional $2,000.00, Mr. McNamara was able to obtain his Coach Car Seat (#48) for the price of $4,500.00.
During this summer, Mr. McNamara emailed us with the suggestion that there may be others of you that may wish to upgrade your original purchase. Please contact us with your wishes and we will do everything we can to bring your request to fruition. This is certainly a novel approach and thank you John for suggesting it.
There are couple of errors on the naming plates that were done up last year and we apologize for the inconvenience and aggravation it has cost to those involved. This is being taken care of, unfortunately as fast as maybe it should be. All the records are being reviewed and each of you will be contacted (after the first of the year) by mail with a quick question to fill out with the full name as you would like it posted on the plate. This will be done before new brass plates are remade in order to avoid any further costly errors. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Temporarily, we plan to put a corrected, calligraphy written name tape over the error.
