On 15 April UNEP FI welcomed its first member from the finance sector in Turkey. The membership of the Industrial Development Bank of Turkey (TSKB) became official at a signing ceremony, after Paul Clements-Hunt, Head of UNEP FI, and Halil Eroglu, TSKB's Central Executive Officer (CEO), signed the UNEP Statement by Financial Institutions on the Environment and Sustainable Development. Mark Fulton, Global Head of Climate Change Investment Research at Deutsche Bank, bacame the new Chair of UNEP FI's Climate Change Working Group. Companies and investors are quickly realizing that climate change is not merely a social, political or moral issue, but an economic and business issue as well. This is translating into a wave of investment and innovation', said Fulton.
