Testimonial of the Month
I'm so happy after my first appointment with M2O. We accomplished so much more than I ever thought was possible!
There is a two hour minimum for both organizers to "O Your Home" at $75 per hour. While I feel this rate is extremely reasonable given the level of service and expertise, I cannot stress this enough- it was worth every penny and more.
I'm sleeping better and dressing better with my organized room and closet. I can't wait for my next appointment! THANK YOU M2O!!!

8 Tips for Stress-free Unpacking
- While you unpack your boxes, take this second opportunity to decide which things you really love. Those items which do not qualify can be put right back into a box and donated to a charity!
- Have a box cutter or pair of scissors handy to cut open boxes.
- Flatten your empty boxes, collect your extra packing materials, and recycle them.
- Make it your ultimate goal to find a proper "home" for every little thing you own. Do it right when you open it. Things without a "home" are simply clutter.
- Keep items in the area where they are most often used.
(i.e.) Extra toothbrushes should "live" in the bathroom. - Unpack one room per day. Don't overwhelm yourself by expecting to get it all done immediately.
- Set up the kitchen and bathroom first. (See the article below.)
- Hang artwork last.

Unpacking: Room by Room
There is an order for which to unpack and we've detailed it step by step, room by room.
Kitchen This is the most essential room to unpack first. It is also commonly the room with the most boxes to unpack. You don't need to put everything away the first day. Just focus on the most commonly used items like glasses, plates, and silverware. Bathroom There typically is not much to unpack in the bathroom. There are a few important items that you'll want to make sure are in their place though! Think soap, toilet paper, and towels. This room will get done in a jiffy! Living Room The biggest issue with putting the living room together is the placement of furniture. Once that is done, you can start placing candles, picture frames, and entertainment pieces around the room to make it feel homey. Bedroom Surely you will want to have your bed set up the first day, so that you'll have a comfy place to crash after your move-in. But it is not necessary to have all of your clothes put away in the closet and dresser. As long as you have jammies and an outfit or two, you'll be all set for another day of unpacking. |
Get Your Move On
by Lindsey Kunz

It is time to relocate to a new environment, to embark on a clean slate in a new spacious place. Searching for a living space is just part of the moving effort. The remaining task is to leave the past behind and transfer into fresh endeavors. Moving is a process of elimination and the act of transporting. Lighten the load and say goodbye to unnecessary belongings.

Each client we work with means so much to us. We strive to achieve the maximum possible results so they can begin living an easier life knowing that their project is taken care of.
We know our clients are busy. That's why they count on us! So when one of them takes the time out of their schedule to write a review of our service on Yelp or on our online survey, we are extremely grateful. Recently we worked with a new client who immediately sang our praises on Yelp.com. She ranked us among the best, giving us another 5-star review. On top of it all, she then turned around and recommended our services to her sister. These are the greatest compliments that we could receive! It's rewarding to know how much we touch people's lives and allow them a sense of freedom, so much so that they spread the word to their friends and family. You can spread the news of M2O too! Share this newsletter. Or simply tell your friend who is moving or your family member who feels overwhelmed that Urban Organizers are the answer. :-) If you ever have any questions, please feel free to email us or contact us through our website.
