Sit down and make a bunch at once, so you'll have a collection that you can use throughout the year. Slap one of those babies on a house-warming, wedding, or birthday gift and you'll make an extraordinary impression!

We know as well as anyone that this time of year can be overwhelmingly busy. If you are feeling the pressures of the season, we want to help!
This month we will continue to provide you with time saving tips on our Facebook fan page. Though we touch on each of our services during the month, our focus for December is on gift giving and wrapping. Making a Simple Ribbon Bow
The bow-tie shape created using this method means that it can
be used to adorn a gift box, jewelry box, headband, or barrette.
Try it with different ribbon and you'll find that you
have a bow for every occasion!
You'll Need:
~ 8 inches of 1.25 inch wired ribbon
~ 1 inch of .5 inch ribbon
~ 6 inches of thin wire (24 gauge)
~ Wire cutters
~ Scissors
~ Lighter
~ Glue gun or needle and thread
1. Cut your ribbons to the dimensions specified above.
Spark the lighter and run the fire gently along the cut edges of the ribbon to heat seal and avoid fraying. Be fast and be careful!
2. Take the longest cut ribbon and make a loop, overlapping
the edges by 3/4 of an inch. Pinch the ribbon in half,
meeting all 3 layers in the middle, creating a bow-tie shape.
3. Wrap the pinched area tightly with the wire, twisting securely.
Snip off any excess wire.
4. Cover the wire with the 1 inch piece of ribbon. Secure using two dots of hot glue on each ribbon end or by sewing the 3 layers together.

5 Gift Wrapping Quick Tips 1. If you are transporting your gifts, wait until you arrive at your destination to attach the bows so they don't get smooshed.2. According to the TSA, if you are flying do not
wrap your gifts in advance.3. Get creative when writing your gift tags.
Use nicknames, pet names, or other fun designations.
(ie. To: My Honey Bear, From: Santa Claus)4. Add strands of curling ribbon to any
ordinary bow to spice it up a notch.5. If you are giving someone more than one gift,
switch up the location of the tag and bow on each package.
