Dilly Cucumber Salad

This is one of our favorite summer recipes. It's easy to make and pop in the fridge for a refreshing snack when the temperatures soar. If you are like us and you grow dill in your garden, why not throw some of that in too?!

Hi there!
There is a reason for the expression "this ain't no picnic". It's because, for the most part, picnics are enjoyable. We hope you are able to get out this summer and enjoy a meal in the great outdoors!
In our July video, newsletter articles, blog, and Facebook page we will provide you with picnic organizing ideas and tips.
We would love for you to join us for our July event. Grab a group of friends and let's head to the lakeshore for a group picnic. This should be an event to remember! Plus there is still time to contribute to our shoe drive.
This month we are offering a 23% discount on kitchen organizing, so now is the time to clear out those cabinets and to once and for all get control of all those plastic containers. Check out the details below or schedule your urban organizing session online now.

How 2 Store Your Picnic Supplies
Picnics usually take place in the summer unless you live in Florida. So what are you supposed to do with all of your picnic supplies when you're not using them?
Go ahead and store all of your small picnic parts in the actual picnic basket itself. Keep some plastic plates, cups, silverware, salt and pepper packets, napkins, and an extra corkscrew right in the basket. You'll be so happy when you can just throw in a few munchies and be on your way to the park.
If you have the space, keep your stocked picnic basket in a hard-to-reach area in your kitchen. This is not something you are accessing on a regular basis anyway so take advantage of spaces between the fridge or back behind your more frequently used items. Cute baskets can even serve double duty and be displayed on tall, high shelves in your kitchen or pantry. Those of you with a garage can put your basket out of the way on a high storage shelf in the garage. Reserve eye-level shelves for everyday storage.
By storing all of your picnic supplies together in one place, you'll save time by being all ready to go any time you're in the mood for an outdoor meal. Now get out there and enjoy some good, old fashioned al fresco dining this summer!
