Shamanic practice as a catalyst for personal responsibility; i.e.,
healing inner conflict and
conflicts with others. It is the starting point for anyone aspiring to do shamanic work. Experiential exercises such as shamanic journey provide the student with personal information and tools to address the following issues:
*Core issues, challenges,
strengths, etc.
*Forgiveness of self and others
*Energy management for self and others
*Spiritual sources -

Pagan Elders & Ancestors: Maxine Sanders

Focus on the life, teachings, and contributions of Maxine Sanders, to the growth of Wicca around the world. Students will read texts and internet works about and by Maxine, as well as focus on the specific contributions Maxine made to the growth of Wicca and Neo-Paganism.

Synchronicity and Divination

A transpersonal vision of synchronicity and divination
for practical experience in responding to synchronicities and employing divination while using a common divination tool, to learn to divine from within yourself, and to be able to incorporate synchronicity and divination into your ministry.
This course is not designed to be a comprehensive survey of all divination methods, but it will give you an understanding of what all systems have in common by way of synchronicity and their transpersonal reality. This understanding should allow you to respond to synchronicity or adopt your preferred divination tool and approach it in a spiritually sound manner.

Part 2 of Basic Shamanism
Shamanic practice as an aid in communication with others. Shamanic journey and other experiential exercises provide the student with personal information and tools to communicate effectively with:
*People - reciprocity and
right relationship
*Animals - allies, teachers,
 and guides
*Nature - spirits of the land, trees, stones, rivers, etc.

 Death and Dying:
A Pagan Overview

What does being Pagan bring to issues of death and dying?
How can Pagans navigate the funeral industry for those they are called to serve and/or themselves?
Briefly touching on topics of looking at our own deaths, kinds of deaths, funeral/rituals and grief. Hopefully, this class will spark each student's interest to delve more deeply into each topic or those of particular interest to them.

 Composing Effective
Eulogies and Obituaries
As we age, we lose more of our loved ones to death.
As we grow as a Pagan presence, more of us are called upon to officiate at funerals and memorials.
Writing and delivering informative, moving eulogies enhances the experience of the mourners. Writing effective, informative obituaries honors our departed loved ones and shares a bit of their essence with the world. In this course we will learn to write eloquent obituaries and eulogies, and to help others do so, in service to our communities.

 Pagan Spiritual Autobiography



Exploration in both reading spiritual autobiography and writing a Spiritual Autobiography.
Students will read two Pagan Spiritual Autobiographical works and construct their own blog, using creative nonfiction writing techniques, to explore their own spiritual paths.
