From the Chair
I do not normally subscribe to
the idea of living a life for the next acquisition, such as buying that big house or getting the perfect job, mostly because these types of acquisitions do not make me happy. I do subscribe to setting goals that are aligned with what is important in my life. In the workplace we hear of many examples of organizational goal alignment, but this line of thought also works in my personal life.
Take the time to think about what will bring you happiness and well-being. I give time and money to Cherry Hill Seminary, as well other organizations that match what is important to me. Reflect upon what CHS classes are in alignment with your own personal goals. Do you want to take on a larger leadership role with the Pagan community, or refine some additional skills? Do you want to be able to speak or write about the history of Paganism? Would you like to understand the inner workings of ritual?
Soon the Summer will be gone and with Fall are new classes. Take the time now to consider what you want to accomplish both this year and further out. Then see how CHS can help you to achieve your personal fulfillment. Register here for Sum 2 and Sum 3 classes.

You Can Help With Just One Click
We often hear that Cherry Hill Seminary is one of the best-kept secrets around. We do not rent mailing lists from others and never share our own lists. But word-of-mouth is the very best way to let people know about this veritable jewel.
Will you help by forwarding CHS messages to the groups to which you belong?
A link at the bottom of this newsletter makes it easy to forward our news and announcements without the formatting becoming garbled.

Congratulations Selina!
Our own Selina Rifkin recently was invited to begin blogging for Witches & Pagans magazine.
"If I seem food obsessed, please understand that in the normal stretch of human history, I am quite normal. My blog postings often come back to the kitchen, the hearth . . . because this is where my explorations of what it means to be nourished have led me."
Read her first column here, called "The Spirit of Food."
