The best resources for for the latest Tour information are:
As of today there are 70riders signed up to participate, which is really good compared to the past 3 years at this time:
In 2009 we had 27
In 2010 we had 35 and
In 2011 we had 24 (of course the tour was held in October but still...)

The 2012 STIHL Tour des Trees Lodging and Host Communities!
The 2012 STIHL Tour des Trees is going to be a wonderful loop beginning with our Opening Dinner in Portland on Saturday August the 4th and concluding with our arrival into the ISA Field Day events on Saturday August the 11th. Along the way we cycle through some of Oregon's most iconic landmarks. Our days will be long and arduous but the host communities have been chosen to ensure that your efforts are fully appreciated and that your time in them will be pleasant and comfortable.
To be clear the lodging that is included with your full tour participation begins on Saturday August the 4th and concludes on Friday August in 10th. I will make the rooming arrangements at each of the included hotels from August the 4th through August the 10th.
If you would like to come in a couple of days early or stay a couple of days after our tour you may do so at the negotiated rate of $129+tax for either a king or 2 queen room. Please note you DO NOT need to make a reservation for Saturday August the 4th or for Friday August the 10th, the links below are only for the 2 days prior to and after the 2012 STDT.
You can use the following links to reserve your pre-tour rooms.
You may also call the hotel to make your pre/post arrangements at 503-234-3200. Please reference the Group Code TTV for your pre-arrival dates and TTW for your post-departure dates.
The Marriott is providing a very limited number of rooms for our pre and post tour so I would encourage you to book as soon as you have made your arrival and departure plans and contact me if you have any problems with this process.
2012 Tour Apparel
The STIHL Tour des Trees continues to set the precedent on the event apparel front. While most charity events may get a t-shirt and if they are lucky a single jersey, thanks to the generosity of our apparel sponsor we have been one of the sharpest looking peloton's on the road over the past few years. This year Mr. Crow and the reTREEt charitable organization has really stepped up their support. They have moved into the Crown Sponsor realm and made a commitment to outfit us like pros.
The "kit" this year will consist of 2 jerseys, a pair of bibs or shorts, arm warmers and a vest. Once the design has been finalized we will publish it for all to see. In addition, to ensure that everyone gets the apparel and sizes that they want the ordering process will be managed by our suppler, Voler. What this means to you is that in the near future we will publish a link to the Voler event apparel ordering page where you will confirm your sizes and if you would like any extras for yourself or your major supporters.
Of course no TDT kit would be complete without a custom helmet, thanks again to KASK Helmets for the incredible support they have shown us and for committing to supply us with custom lids for a 3rd consecutive year!
