Greetings!

Here's a friendly reminder of the upcoming events. Tonight, we will be host to Illusion Winery. We are very excited to have these folks in. They have been around for a while but this will be the first time many of us have tasted what this winery out of Lyle has been up to.

Our Italian Wine Class Part III will be the best one yet! Learn all about Nebbiolo, AKA the "King of Wines." See the column on the right for all the details.

But the most exciting event coming up is our Grand Opening for the Bistro and Patio! Yes we have had the shop for two years, but we will be opening the outside patio up to seating as well as unveiling our new, expanded Bistro menu! See below for details.

Illusion Winery

Founded in 2002 outside Seattle, Dave and Dina Guest created this boutique winery then decided to move operations to their facility outside of Lyle. They make a great selection of wines from Riesling to Syrah. We are very excited to have these folks here!

Bistro & Patio
Grand Opening

Saturday June 19th
4pm and on...

You heard right... We will be celebrating the opening of the Bistro and unveiling a beefed up menu as well as opening up the back patio just in time to enjoy the summer sunshine! Blue Mountain Cider Co. will be on hand to pour their fabulous ciders which will pair perfectly with Matt Johnston's BBQ... Oh yes... there will be ribs, chicken and much much more! Live music, sunshine and good food and drink; what more could you ask for?

Italian Wine Class III: Piedmont
Friday June 18th 6-8pm

If you missed the last couple of classes, it's ok, but you should definitely not miss this one. Aaron Coe will be teaching us all about the birthplace of Barbera and Nebbiolo. The class will be only $7 a person (to cover basic costs), and tasty treats will be served with your wines. Advance registration is appreciated. Hope to see you here!
