September 2010

I just returned from having spent an afternoon at the Fall for the Arts Festival, sponsored by the Knight Foundation and the Adrienne Arsht Center for Performing Arts. Over 100 arts organizations of all sizes and forms were presenting themselves.  It was a hot, muggy day with an impending thunderstorm, and the place (parking lot, really) was packed with people.  Who says people are not interested in the Arts!

I would like to encourage you to be involved with the Dranoff - come to our concerts, bring your friends, share the newsletters with your circle.  Sponsor events, underwrite specific parts of what we do. Consider the Dranoff 100.  Join our growing family. Show your interest in our Arts!

THEDRANOFFBOARDTHE DRANOFF BOARD

We have not even sent out the PR release about our new board member, so you read it here first:

Nina Cohen, our newest Executive Board member, just joined our growing board.

A common thread found throughout Nina's background and life in South Florida has been her love of music.  With musical tastes that run the gamut from opera to salsa to classical to jazz, she recognizes and takes advantage of the incredible offering of music found in our community.  It is this musical passion that has led her to the Dranoff organization.
For the past 5 years Nina Cohen has established a reputation as a successful marketing consultant and strategic planner to a number of high profile clients in South Florida.  Among those companies are the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau, Miami International Airport and the Yachts of Seabourn.
Prior to becoming a full-time consultant Nina was a successful corporate executive holding senior positions with a number of international companies; BBDO International, Costa Cruises, Disney Cruise Line, Norwegian Cruise Line and Miami Air International.

Welcome aboard!
