This webinar will look at the transition college students face going from a campus to a corporate environment. It will discuss how you can combat the anxiety and fears you may have about your new job and what the top mistakes you can make in your first few weeks are.

Grammy-nominated saxophonist, bandleader, record producer and composer Ravi Coltrane has created a first-class reputation within the jazz community. The son of legendary saxophonist John Coltrane and pianist Alice Coltrane, he has worked alongside jazz and pop icons as well as contemporaries Branford Marsalis, Kenny Barron and Joe Lovano. There will be a Pre-Performace Discussion in the Alice R. Manicur Assembly Hall at 4:30 on this day. Jazz artist Ravi Coltrane will meet with community members for an educational session in which he will discuss his career in the music industry.

Laser Tag Battle to Beat Cystic Fibrosis

Open to all FSU Students
Teams of 6 to 8 students or smaller groups may play for a suggested donation of $2 - $5 per person. Individuals wishing to play will be placed on teams. A special Greek session for all sorority and fraternity members will take place from 5 pm - 7 pm. Small prizes will be available for the Greek team with the most wins. Individuals and groups may register in the hallway outside of the gym. For more information or if you have questions, contact Maney Gale. All profit will be donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Cystic fibrosis or CF is an inherited life-threatening chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of about 30,000 children and adults in the United States. This event is being planned and hosted by a portion of RECR 382: Program Planning. Special thanks to the University Programming Council and Robert Cooper for providing the Laser Tag equipment.
