Check out the Illusionist Leon Etienne, Wednesday in the Lane University Center, Alice R. Manicur Assembly Hall. 

Delta Zeta is doing the first Women's Learning Circle session on Monday, 2/20. Come discuss current issues facing women in our society. The women of FSU will be able to discuss current issues and concerns with April Baer. 

Also, SGA will be voting on whether or not the Student Activities fees built into FSU's tuition will be raised. Come listen to students express their opinions and share your own! All testimony from students will be welcomed! This could affect you next semester so come!!

The House of Sand/Casa de Areia [Brazil]  is set in Brazil's Maranhao desert, the audience will follow three generations of women from 1910 to 1969 as they try to survive in the harsh environment. Directed by Andrucha Waddington, this film is the story of a husband who leads his family to small town in the sand dunes and how the women in his family cope generation to generation.

Join Delta Zeta and April Baer once a month to learn about and discuss issues facing women today. This month's session will discuss the definition of "beauty" imposed by our society. We will look at beauty through the ages and how today's "beautiful" compares to what was considered beautiful hundreds of years ago. This session will have an interactive portion to give the women of Frostburg State an opportunity to voice their opinions and concerns on various topics.

Michael McNair


The Department of Student & Community Involvement would like to recognize senior Michael McNair for his contributions to the Social Marketing Team. Over the past week, the Liberal Studies major secured donations from local businesses to use as giveaways to promote events within the department. Michael developed the giveaway promotional campaign for Rachel Brown which included handing out fliers, promoting the event on Twitter and ending with a giveaway at the event.
